Another cool looking snake

Spotted this one on an oilfield rd this morning. Relocated it to safety a couple hundred yards off said rd.







Spotted on of my toads roaming around the yard. I have a really big one out there somewhere if it is still alive. I hope to see it soon.

If you look at the picture near the tip of the tail. There is a blood looking splotch the snake expelled that when I was trying to relocate it.

I had absolutely zero reason to kill this snake. It would have been pure ignorance for me to have even thought of that.
