What a rush!!!!
I can't tell y'all how happy, exhausted, and most of all,BLESSED, I feel right now.

I killed Swoop this morning. Clark and I both passed this deer. Then, after watching the video and both seeing him in person we new he was a mature, dominant buck on the property, so, we decided the last few days he was on the hit list.

I had a doe feeding on acorns, she looked up, trotted out in the pasture and here comes Swoop right down the fence line. He stepped out at 25 yards and I let him have it.
Solid blood trail for about 75 yards and there he lay!

This, by far, is my most memorable Kansas trip and I'm glad I got to share the experience with everyone on TBH.

Pics aren't great, but I'm by myself. I'll try and get better ones posted.

Congrats on the buck. Nice job and done to perfection. Hunt hard all days and kill on the last. Way to maximize the hunt time. Only thing better would be killing that buck at 11:59. Glad you were successful and thanks for taking us along.
