Default 2018 Houston Texans Season thread

Bill Obrien is God Aweful !!

I have never seen a coach NOT make halftime adjustments before.

He states " it's not my job to call a time out" to make replay booth job easier.

In essence he may be right but what a complete moronic thing to say. Hey idiot, that was a 30 yd play down to the 15 yd line with under a min left....THAT WAS THE GAME !
What are 3 time outs left doing you any good at halftime....

I cant stand this guy as a coach !!! Complete garbage

Punting down 14 with 4 minutes left is even more absurd

Yes...on the road to the Patriots

Tony Romo is excellent in the booth...his calls on what should be run and what is coming is incredible...
He blasted their play calling and lack of game management all day

I donít know when folks are going to realize we have a coaching problem, never been impressed with Obrien and I still question what ever made him the great coach everyone claimed he was

Romo definitely knows football. I wish he'd put down the mic and come be our offensive coordinator! We need an OC!

Do you ever see and imagination from the Texans on offense? This has got to be the most vanilla offense in the league.....

I am so over this team already...I was excited with Watson and JJ, Mercilous back.....

Did Clowney even suit up yesterday?

Romo was on point all game long, I was impressed. Texans are so predictable, Belichek could send the play in! BOB needs to go, his time management and decision making hasn’t improved from day one!

The game plan never changes.
I think were in for another terrible season.
We were dogs yesterday so why not try something different?
A loss is a loss so go for it. Nope. Again.
He should have an idea on what NE likes to do since he was a coach there.
Nope, won't do it. We will get them next week.

Go Astros!!

The Texans are in the bottom 3 of worst NFL franchises....and it starts with the owner....
This man has never hired the right people in 15 years now...
BOB is not a NFL head coach
Clowney has been a bust....he must of had Menstraul cramps today... didn't suit up

I havent been watching since I am one of the boycotters since the beginning of last year but man are the sports talk stations on fire the last two days, lol. It is like everyone has finally had enough and/or just now figured out Bill isnt a good head coach or OC. People are ******! It has been entertaining to say the least. Im glad Im a diehard baseball guy first and foremost. It is has been good for that in Houston the last several years. Yall keep your chins up....Im sure Bill is good for another 9-7 or 8-8 season. What an absolute waste of talent on that roster.

So you are one of those 5 team guys.

Ok.

I went to the Stros game last night with some buds I grew up with. They all have season tickets to the Texans. Good seats too. I don't but could only laugh when they tried to unload them on me.

These first two games have been flat out embarrassing, almost comical to watch.

We can't do anything right.

I think coach has lost the locker room. And he knows it.

Gonna be another long year.

Iíve only watched about a quarter of the the first game but it appears the best mediocre high school coach is doing what he does best. My biggest fear was he had a whole offseason to teach Watson how to pay football and he took to the teaching. Texans play calling is about the most predictable since before the forward pass was invented.

5 team guys? I support the Chiefs and Texans in that order and only cheer for someone playing against the Texans if it is the Chiefs. Chiefs because it is the first team I ever knew and grew up with and Texans because they are my new hometown team. I support them but that just plan suck again this year on MOST aspects of the game.

9 game losing streak for the Texans

Longest in the NFL

Only Bob McNair gives someone and extension with that record

This coach needs to go. 3 weeks in a row with no pulse until after halftime. No excuse today with this being the home opener. Glad I turned down the tickets I had.

Worst GM in NFL....yes, even worse that Jerry. Although maybe the extension came from McNair, rather than Gaine. Gaine could make a big splash by firing O'Brien.
