We use Federal Fusion MSR in .223 and 6.8 SPC, better velocities designed for short barrels blah blah insert marketing stuff here, but it works well. Also have an AR10 in 308 and it'll obviously work fine but haven't blasted a deer with it yet.

Have used 223, 6.8 & 6.5 Grendel. All have been deadly & no lost animals. My go to now is the Grendel.

Just killed two does two weeks from today with my 5.56. First was a lung shot and she ran 25 yards and the second was a neck shot and I dropped her in her tracks.

Same here.
Killed the only 3 animals I aimed at this year with one.
I did prefer the performance of the fusion to my current pill, I plan on switching back soon.

Love my 6.5 Grendel, brother use to use a 6.8, don’t think you could go wrong with either
