    CZ 452 American scope rings

I picked up a CZ 452 American and haven't decided what scope to put on it have a few extra laying around. So my questions are how do I tell what size dovetail I have (3/8ths or 11mm?) and what height should I use for a 36 or 40 mm objective (thinking about either a leupold vx 2 4x12 or vx3 2.5x8)? The rifle is new old stock been sitting for a while I guess lefties don't sell well.

They are 11mm. Probably a medium with the bolt throw of a CZ.

      I agree with Darrell.

Look into BKL 2 piece mounts. One of the best rimfire mounts I've found and a Texas company.

Thanks for the input. It appears my rifle is 3/8ths grooved got a set of Talleys ready to go now.

Yes the 452 American has a 3/8 dovetail while the 455 uses 11mm.

I have several CZ rimfires. For my wife's 452 American and my 455 FS I chose Leupold's 2x7 rimfire scope. The parallax on these mate with shorter distance common to the .22lr.
