Overcast and cool here. I had a doe at the farthest end of my right shooting lane at legal shooting time, but I had to wait for more light to ensure it was a doe. It took me awhile to get in stable shooting position, then the high grass blocked my view of her chest. She was a little jumpy and never gave me a neck shot that I was comfortable with. She left a few minutes later when the feeder spun. I haven't seen anything else. Hunt ends at 10am.

Keep after em. What else are you allowed at this point?

You are allowed 5 whitetail (1 branch antlered buck), unlimited pigs and exotics.

Didn't hear any shots this morning. Time to pack it up.

Overall I'm more than satisfied with 3 animals on an $80 public hunt.
