        Interesting read..
Until a border wall gets built any effort to eradicate the fever tick will be as successful as trying to push a chain..... They will just keep coming....
It a shame so many Nilgai are being slaughtered..

Who knows how much is being spent on each helicopter hunt when they could actually be making money doing drawn hunts for the public.

Nice read. John Goolsby is my old classmate from junior high and high school in Brownsville.

It's a lot cheaper than if fever ticks spread to cattle across the state.

Hmm, interesting. Didn't really think about the beef industry. Do deer, hogs, other exotics carry the tick also? Or only nilgai?

They already have.... Years and years ago..
The deer have been swimming the river since "forever".

According to some the deer do.
