Advice needed, short trip to Ruidoso.

We may have the opportunity to stay in a mansion rent free in Ruidoso this weekend and need to know what to do basically from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning.

It has been ages since we have been there, but without having to pay to stay, it might just happen. Since we live in Lubbock, it is a hop, skip and a jump to Ruidoso, just have to get the kids boarded!

    Suggestions please.

Casino’s, horse races, hiking, horseback riding, fishing, lots of really cool historical stuff in Lincoln county associated with billy the kid, try and see the mustangs that roam the area...

Horse races and a trip to Lincoln. Cloudcroft isn’t far.

I have a baby sitter in Tipton’s Pet Hotel if they have any vacancies. 2 Rotties are our kids!

We just drove home from there today.

We rented a cabin in the upper canyon area. The view was totally worth the price of admission.

We had elk, muleys and turkeys in the yard every evening.

I played golf one day (the girls went to ride gokarts and shop), we went over to Lincoln and Ft Stanton, had dinner and watched a show at Flying J, and I sat on the balcony enjoying a few cigars and a good book.

Had a great time with my girls. I would love to go back again.

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately...
