    Fiberglass Blind Repair

I picked up a fiberglass blind this year that is a few years old. It is nice but the walls of the blind seem to be leaking through to the inside and down on the floor. Nothing fast just a slow seep. Wonder if a thick coat of new paint will fix the problem. Anyone have any suggestions?

I'd give it a try with some outdoor house paint...

Think spray paint or roll on would work better?

Try that flex seal stuff and then paint over that

This^^^. Use some type of bed liner and roll it on thick. If you have any damage a fiberglass repair kit can be picked up also and is easy to use.

You might also try Redgard. It's an elastomeric coating used under tile and for waterproofing shower pans. You can prime and paint over it. About $35 a gallon.

Or just use fiberglass gelcoat. Fiberglass is porous without gelcoat to seal it. Usually comes in white but can get color to dye it. Applies just like resin but put wax in last coat to keep from being tacky

Neighbors T-box stands started leaking thru the walls the 2nd year he owned them. We took them down and he sprayed a dyed green bedliner material on them. That solved the leaking problem. Now to fix the leaking windows.
