Thompson Temple ranch and son's first bow kill

We went out to Thompon Temples a few weeks ago. This was going to be my son's first chance at shooting something with his bow. James and I headed down to a pop-up blind we had set up earlier that day. It was not long before we had a group of rams come in. I asked James which one do you want to shoot. He said "the big white fluffy one". I told him you can not hang that one on the wall if you shoot him. So he decided to shoot this nice Corsican. He got settled and let the arrow fly. Perfect shot. The ram ran 30 yards and fell in sight. So I guess all the practicing he did all summer at the 3D shoots paid off. I had a proud dad moment and we went and looked at his ram. It was short of Bronze metal by one inch. The one inch he had broken off on one side. Oh well that gives him something to look forward to next year.

My wife got her first bowkill there as well. But she shot the big white fluffy one.
