I prefer hand corn if you can corn it at least every 7-10 days

I have a couple feed stations that happened to also. I not there often enough to keep em in with hand corn so I am trying to figure out a "silent" motorized feeder to build.

Customer 2 is a small spike. Only about an inch of hard antler.

That's a mighty fine view from that tree.

Got a doe fawn here now. Only have about 35mins of shooting light left. Need a target to step up.

Had a doe come in after last light. No shot again tonight. Heading back to the house, cooking Ribeyes tonight.

Tomorrow depends on the wind. If it’s a north wind, got two stands in mind. If it’s still from the south, will go to the creek.

Back out at it again. In a double bull extra wide this AM on top of a creek bluff looking down in to the feeder pen. Still have the Mr. Buddy heater going. Will post pics as soon as it gets light.

Of note- we always had a 6x6 wooden box blind here but after almost 10yrs- it finally was scrapped. We will have a new permanent blind back up by the fall.

                        You sir are correct!

Just arrowed a doe. She did a backflip over the fence and did a second backflip in to a tree trunk. Dead within site. Maybe 20yrds.

Still early so I’m nocked and loaded we will see what else comes in.

This is looking down over the feeder.

Nice! Good job on the doe! Hopefully one of the big bucks that the stand produces will come along!

There was a big 8, probably 3.5yo who’s been here all season. His antlers are broken now. He should be a stud next year.
