    Spine Question

Shooting the Samick Sage, 40#@28". I'm pulling 30 inches so poundage is estimated at 45-46 lbs. I had some .400 spine Easton Excel at 31 7/8 long from mock groove to end of insert. Shooting a 125 grn tip and have a 145 grn tip to try. From that, anyone have suggestions. Very windy today shooting. Shooting off the shelf with 3, 5" feathers

Well I answered my own question. Shot bare and fletcher shafts from about 15 yards and were slapping all the shafts together. My last 2 arrow group were stacked together and have hit more shafts shooting this recurve than i remember with my compound

That would still be WAY to stiff for me. I'm shooting .500 & .600 with 145 off my 50 ish bows.
If they are grouping stick with them.

Well it's all I have at the moment. They are long enough for me to shoot and they seem to fly decently enough for me to figure out my anchor and work on pulling through the shot
