Default Opening another restaurant

Well I really was not looking to open another one this soon but something fell in my lap so we are going to open another Shuck Me in Hochatown, OK, the Beavers Bend area near Broken Bow Lake, we hope to be up and running by mid April, I know i have lost my mind but none the less come and see us if you are in the area. And I need FISH mounts and nautical decor, holler if you have anything or know of where something is, thank you.

Awesome area! Existing building or new construction?
I know of a nice location on the west side that would be perfect. Curious if that is where y'all will be. We travel there yearly and will definitely have to stop in.

Not sure of direction but it is where the Moon Tower was, right between the brewery, distillery and winery.

Congratulations!

...but be cautious. Restaurants are hard enough to run; high maintenance, high employee turnover and perishable inventory. Running it as an absentee owner is even tougher. Hope you will have a good manager you can trust to not pocket your profits. The old former banker in me comes out occasionally.

Seriously, I wish you well and hope to get up there flyfishing this spring and will check it out!

I am sure you will do great man. I work for a large pizza franchise and own one of my own in Denton that is under construction and oversee 100 of the franchises in Texas and Oklahoma. I have been in the restaurant industry over 20 years. Itís hard work, but rewarding when you hit that ďhome runĒ restaurant location!

I been coming through your neck of the woods quite a bit lately, I barely hunted this year at all, got involved in this restaurant stuff and just did not have the time, oh well I needed another challenge, the boys are running the concrete business so i have the time to chase a dream, hope it does not turn into a nightmare.

I seen it in the vat, owners gave me a tour, I am leasing the restaurant building form them, also took a tour of the distillery, got to see over a million dollars worth of whiskey waiting to be bottled, pretty cool.

That part of Oklahoma is God's country. We canoe and fish there every year. Now I have a new place to check out when you get open. We are usually up there a couple times in May. Keep us posted as to your progress.

First time in Broken Bow area. Up here for a couple nights celebrating 20 years. What a great place Broken Bow/Beaverís Bend is.

We are staying in a cabin not far behind Shuck Me so we stopped in tonight for dinner. I was impressed. Great atmosphere and decor, good prices, excellent food, and they play REAL country music. I had catfish and shrimp and wife had boiled shrimp and grilled squash. A+ experience. Here a few pics
