25-06 in my opinion. Push mine to 250 yds. Wont use any other gun except a 22-250 when varmint hunting!

Id go bigger or smaller than what you have.
If I was going bigger Id go 300 Win Mag or 300 WSM

If I was going smaller Id look at everything from a 223 to 22-250 to 243 to 204 Ruger.

I agree on the 257 weatherby (and the need to always be on the look out for another rifle if a good deal is to be had). I have a 257 and shoot it more than all my other rifles combined.
