    Network Accessable Storage Help

I need a NAS to store/backup our photos. Wife handles the photo imports etc through lightroom, which can bet set to backup. Is that the best way to go or should we use an app of some sort for the NAS? Need total advice here, and usability is the #1 priority. Needs to automatically back up our pics per the wife and I want auto redundancy. Any info is appreciated. I have searched online and could make a choice just want to make sure I pick the best one.

Google Photos is what I use.
    It's not NAS

We looked at different online options. Doesn't do what she wants. Automatic backup with good date organization is the key for her. She puts up with me, is great for the kiddo, and doesn't ask for much.

Synology makes an affordable NAS. https://fstoppers.com/originals/best...raphers-212730

I was liking the sinology models. Not sure which one... the 218j seems like all we need, but don't want to regret it. is the 218+ worth the $130 upgrage? WD or Seagate drives?
