There ain’t much for bbq along 35 between San Marcos and SA. Coopers ain’t bad in New Braunfels but they are proud of their meat. Rudy’s is Rudy’s. Same ole precooked crap at each location. Head Granzins is decent but haven’t had it yet

The new building on 35 for Hays County is now open. If cannot beat. Possibly tie......but not beat. It is one of the best in the state. The old Southwest Market building on Hopkins is now San Marcos BBQ and it is just as good. San Marcos is the crown jewel of central Texas BBQ. It has surpassed Lockhart. Luling City Market is also stellar.
