    Snakes already out!

Just a reminder, snake season is already beginning. Be careful out there looking for sheds. I normally wear snakes boots but took a quick trip just driving around.

We have been seeing them laying out on the rock sunning over the last several months!

After a long cold spell it's going to be 70 degrees in my neck of the woods this weekend. I will put snake gaiters and .357 shotshells on the packing list for my lease trip!

Headed to the lease this weekend. Definitely going to be on the look out, having the kids with me.

This past weekend I was messing around in the garden and turned over an old pot and picked up what I thought was a night crawler. It wasn't very lively at all and then I realized it was a little snake. I don't know what it was, it def wasn't a copperhead or anything, just a little 7 or 8 inch snake that was VERY lethargic. I just tossed him over in a wood pile and let him be. With this warmer weather they will be out..
