Pit Blinds - Need some pictures and some ideas

I seem to recall that Cosmiccowboy built a pit blind or two some years back, but Jack has not been on here for awhile. Hope he is okay.

My grandkids would likely get tired of waiting for me to finish building one like that.

And they aren't even born yet.

They are awesome to hunt out of but be aware
Of the following:

• They are expensive
• They are hard to install
• They can’t really be moved
• You have to keep the brush mowed around it

Also, do not set it up where it could potentially flood.

One more thing. The view can be pretty limited. I would suggest setting up one on the edge of a field or somewhere where you can see for a ways.

If you've got a backhoe, you're halfway home.

Make sure the sides are bowed and you compact your fill or you’ll have a boat blind. Seen that happen several times!
