Default Well I知 an idiot

My name is Jeff and I知 an idiot, went to the range to shoot this morning and decided to try my buddies new release. Somewhere in between figuring out the release, talking to the guy next to me about his upcoming elk and just being a little tired because the coffee hadn稚 kicked in decided to let the bow go without knocking an arrow 🤦🏻*♂️. The bow looks ok for the most part except the string which is toast but I won稚 know for sure until the bow shop opens at noon. Worst part is I leave September 7 for my Archery elk hunt. Fingers crossed it痴 nothing serious. I知 an idiot, thanks for letting me vent

Mistakes are made everyday. It wasn't intentional. Get er fixed and let her rip.

I have a good friend at Gateway Archery in Ft. Worth. He is a Mathews dealer and I know he will help you out. Give him a shout his name is Jim Faver.

A buddy of mines FIL pulled his new DXT back when he first got it and dry fired it. I was standing there. Pieces went everywhere. The look on his face. . Doesn稚 sound like your was as bad. Archery shop was able to put his back together (required new limbs) in short order and many deer since never could tell the difference.

I dry fire my old Switchback all the time. Doesn't seem to hurt it one bit. After all it is a Mathews.

We値l just got back from West Houston Archery and Rich got me all fixed up. Looked everything over and all that was needed was a new string and mods. Had to order the mods so should have it back in a week or so. Looks like I dodged a bullet!
