How much weight on arrow are you thinking
What is the lowest speed you won't go below
Are you wanting standard foc or high foc.

So this would but this bow at best 270 and 266 with a peep and loop. At 70 lbs around 256 at 65 lbs.
This means 425 gn arrow will be about the heaviest arrow you will be able to shoot with this bow to keep, you at 230 fps.
At this you will have 50 . Ke and .436 momentum. This also puts you at 6.5 gn per lb.
There is nothing wrong with this set up. You do need to look at a good cut on contact head in my opinion.Last edited by enewman; 11-09-2015, 09:34 PM.

I don't know how fast I'm shooting (never chrono'ed it) but hers my set up
Hoyt crx 35 65lbs 28.5" draw
27" Easton fmj 300's with a 75gr brass insert
150gr broadhead
Weighs right around 590gr with 15% foc and it's shoots plenty fast for me. If I had to guess the speed I'd say around 250-260ish give or take a little. I was caught up in the speed thing the first couple years I started bow hunting, but the last 3-4 years I keep getting heavier and heavier. I'm really liking this arrow set up. I'm goin to stick with it for awhile.
