I am very meticulous about my shot selection on any animal. I was raised to appreciate and respect the hunt. I would never intentionally take this shot but I have shot animals where I am not proud of, due to mistakes on my part or reactions of the animal.

Hell Yes!!!

I can agree with you. The object is to kill the animal as quickly as possible, Correct? I have tracked deer for miles and miles on "Ethical Shots". This shot to me seems to be like a High Percentage kill shot. I hear people talk about heart shot and room for error. So the room for error generally leads to a long tracking job. This particular shot seams to me to be a Kill or miss. Where the Heart or Lung shot......well sometimes it does and sometimes doesn't go as planned.
