What a cool find and what a cool history lesson addition! This place just amazes me sometimes... I almost always gain in knowledge when I read through seemingly benign threads. This one in particular has been especially enlightening. I have a bunch of old cases like that that I have found over the years. I intend to go through them to see if I may have any of the old 50-70 cases.

          Thanks all for posting/sharing!

This is all very, very interesting. Sounds like the indians figured out a work around for lots of issues. Was this found in Coleman County?

Many great Indian wars were the result of fence line hunting

Yes, they were found just south and west of Coleman.
