Hunted OK this am. Seen decent buck and found a FRESH scrape since sat nights rain!

Had to do the New Years day "thing" with the family this eve......

This evening's hunt was ok. I actually had some deer come to some hand corn I put out. Nothing went to the feeder. Saw 6 doe, 2 small 8pt'rs and 10 hogs.

Wifey shot a little one but it’s her first ever deer and first hunt with a bang stick. She hunted with me once before with a Xbow on opening wknd. She said her heart was racing so fast she thought she was gonna have a heart attack. LOL.
The 6.8 put a thump on that deer. Shot it with my hand loads using the Hornady 110 HPBT running at 2550fps. Entry hole on the right shoulder was bullet diameter but the exist hole on the opposite shoulder was nearly 2.5” in diameter. I’m super excited for her. Made a hunteress today for sure.
