    Brush blind question

This weekend I will be hunting in the Columbus area. I plan on building some sort of brush blind to hide myself. Do y'all have any tips on building brush blinds?

Find a brushy bush. Trim out a nice hole. Pile in new brush to kind match the bush but a little fatter then before. Leaving you a cave inside

Not sure if there is an cedar around there, but if there is, find you a big tree that has fallen over but is still alive. Carve out a hole to sit in, then use what you cut, and more from nearby trees, to build a wall in front of you and fill in behind you. You want the back wall to be solid, no light passing through. That's how I killed my only deer last year on my lease.

Great advice given. One thing I might add...watch out for snakes when crawling in!

Once you think you have enough brush, add more.
