Yesterday after 10 years I finally killed a deer, I used a gun but its meat in the freezer.
I got my dad into deer hunting 10 years ago and every year I focus more on him filling our freezer. What was special about yesterday was it was the first time for me to kill a deer with him in the blind. The other special part was it being on Veterans day and his first whitetail kill was on Veterans day 10 years ago. I also used the same gun he took his first with
My Dad did 4 yrs active and 23 in the reserves so it was really neat day
--now one of these days I will hopefully get my first bow kill
