    mobile ground blind

Got hold of this that a co worker was going to trash.
First thing we did was extend the tongue to make it a little easier to handle and back-up, then we ripped off the old metal frame and wood.
It is a little long for me, gonna be around 4' by 10' when finished, but that is ok.
We have it framed out plywood up and first layer of paint on, but I will gradually post the final product.

I see where you are going, interested to see how you plan to create the sides and make it able to withstand the highway.

        Frame added.
Tried to stay with 48" width on the frame so the plywood would fit right in.
Cut it at 6 ft. so you could stand up if needed to. (2) 48" sections and (1) 24" sectionon both sides.

The original trailer had a high rack extension that we used in Mexico in the mid 90's. Quite a ride!
The trailer has many memories. Let's see, Chris shot the tire with his bow while Jim stood by watching. I think I used it to move a couple of times...jackknifing muther right there. Made many of deliveres and pick ups in it as well. Over loaded it and darn near caught the tires on fire rubbing the fender wells. Ahhh the good ole days.

                      Roof ready to go on.
I went back and forth with my buddy on material, slope, flat vs. pitched, etc.
Settled on this. One of the most expensive parts of the whole project.

Good lord man, why waste that kind of cash on a roof? That piece of aluminum is too pretty for a deer blind roof!

My neighbor is helping me with the build. It was his idea, he got a hook up through his work. Won't leak.....you are right though, tough to spend that much.
Most stuff I have been using was free or minimal cost.

Nothing wrong with a little overkill.

                              I like it.
