I bought the same ones before Bily Lovec and I went on our bear hunt.
I liked them so much, I bought the insulated ones when I got back.

It's hard to find a comfortable boot. It's even harder to find one that requires minimal break in.

You really do get what you pay for with Danners!

Something doesn't ring true with that post. I don't mean to call you out. But Randy doesn't hunt.

I guess there is some truth to that, but he will split the expenses on a trip!

And he did shoot a bear ... out of a tree ... with an ASSAULT rifle!

The part about the boots is true, though. I swear!

Great and timely review. I grabbed my hunting boots just before season to clean them up and discovered a rat had decided to turn the heel of mine into nesting material. I've been wearing rubber boots so far this season but don't care for them as I walk a good distance to the stand and they're cold come winter.

BTW-I was with ya until that hole jogging part...

I'll be hitting the GM in Sugarland this week.

I wear the Danner Jackal and they are BA! Comfortable, flexible and super quiet.

I've got two different models of Danner boots and both are as comfortable as a pair of good sneakers.

Well I've been looking for a good hunting boot. No luck. I found some Irish Setters than where really comfortable and dry at first but fell apart very quick.. Started leaking by the end of season and the soles coming apart...JUNK..!!!
Haven't tried these yet though. Thanks for the info.

They've been making good boots for many many years. I'm on my 5th pair. Danner coveytail were the best snake boots ever made.

sweet report. I'm already looking for my elk boots for next year so this may be them.

                          Thanks.

Thank you for the review SeƱor Chew. I have been looking for a pair of humting boots that will satisfy my needs. These boots appear to be a good match for what I am seeking. I use danner brand boots while on duty and know that danner produces a good product. I will be trying out a pair soon.
