Went to New York on Friday and proposed to my girlfriend of two years in Central Park. She always wanted a fairy tale proposal so I decided I would do my best to give her just that. She went up Thursday for a oil and gas seminar and I flew up Friday to spend the weekend with her in the big city. We saw a few sights Friday but decided Saturday would be the day. Saturday morning we went shopping on 5th and Madison which almost got me busted because I had the ring in my pocket and every store we went into, the alarm from the door sensor went off. I decided the shopping was over so we headed to the park. We strolled through the park and found a pretty bridge that she liked and asked a young couple to use our camera to take a picture, as I gave the gentleman our camera I whispered "don't stop shooting pictures" and showed him the ring box, he gave me a wink and it worked out perfectly. She cried as I slipped the ring on her finger and had it all on film. Hate to sound so mushy but she's one of the "good ones". On a related note she also said it was so special because she knew the rut was soon to start and I found the time to fit a proposal in the middle of deer season. So like I said "A good one". Thanks for reading.
