Here is my total "pick" for today. I managed to meet three separate people from TBH and THF at Bass Pro Shops today. One guy was from Austin, one from Houston, and one guy from North San Antonio. It worked out great, met all from 1030-1100.

.257 Mag (traded a Rem 700 SPS .308)
.22 pump (traded reloading stuff)
HR .20 gauge (traded reloading stuff)
.257 Roberts Rem 760 pump (traded a .22 mag)

Gun show tomorrow, I want to add another Sendero to the collection in .308. We will see.

Well not today but I picked it up on Wednesday after almost a 3 month wait. I am ready to put some lead down range with it. I wont be keeping it as it is currently setup though.

Bought yesterday, but finally chanced upon a 9mm S&W M&P Shield in stock at a local place. I'll put a couple of boxes of bullets through it sometime this week before I start carrying it. Already planning on some APEX trigger mods for it and my 9mmfs.

Thanks Casey, Jeff and Jnet for the relay to Paris!

I picked up the Pearce plus (3) Extension from a local hardware store.

I put a Savage Model 25 Walking Varminter in .204 on layaway today, will get it out of jail in 3 or 4 weeks, when I get my paychecks. Going to be a long hard wait but it will be worth it in the end. Will post pics promptly when I finish paying bail on it. I was digging it in the store, lightweight and shouldered great, I was also digging the 60 degree bolt throw and a very smooth action. I really think I am going to enjoy this little rifle.

Here is a review with pics. http://www.gunblast.com/Savage-25WV.htm

Funny I was playin with that exact gun today! It feels good! Just didn't know what it would do better than my 223. I have a 17hmr as well. The 17hmr is a good little critter gun!

I agree it felt awesome when I was handling it. It just felt right when I was holding if that makes sense? It was the only one they had on hand and the guy working the counter didn't even know he had it until I asked if he had any .204s and he walked right to it lol. I wasn't planning on getting one for a few weeks but for 110 down I now don't have to worry about it being bought by somebody else.

I love the .17 HMR picked one up in 2003 when they were pretty new. Killed tons of small game with it. The .17 Hornet is suppose to be a step up on the .22 Hornet in accuracy. I need to get one.

I'm a Glock owner as of today. Had a hard time finding this in FDE but it was worth the extra work. It won't displace the Kahr PM9 as my daily carry but it will have its place.

Glock 26 (9mm)

This week i picked up an S&W M&P15 from a fellow TBH'er and then the next day got a S&W M&P10 . I think that should finish off my AR collection for a while.

This one took me a year to find but I finally got one. A 1956 Mannlicher Schoenauer MC .308 carbine with the double set triggers. One of the smoothest bolt actions ever made and the set trigger breaks like glass and is adjustable down to 3 ounces. Funny thing is, I gave up on finding one with this stock configuration and made a deal for one that was close to what I wanted. The guy sold it out from under me and this one showed up on the web 3 days later, it worked out great for me.

OK...so this is NOT a new gun & YES, I did let a FRIEND pimp my gun...

Not like he has a healthcare business to run, but he wants to start a cerekote biz?? Anyway, he 'needed' a before and after gun and I told him "you know not of what thee ask...I only have one before and after gun to offer & it cannnot be parted with."

His reply was 'give me the gun and you can jack it back up when i'm done'...I need less friends. All I asked was make it all black, or the top one color and the bottom another collor. KEEP IT NEUTRAL!!!!!!

Oh well, these sights were outdated and night sights will be on order...I will deal with the bbl with rounds down range.
