Default Bobcat Weight Guess

What do you guys think this cat weighs?
I attached other pics so it can help with sizing the animal. This is in southern Oklahoma.

That looks like a big cat. He/she has a little beer gut going, too! I wouldn't be surprised if it went 30lbs.

That cat is either pregnant, or ate one of those turkeys whole...

25-30 lbs and you need to do some more predator control!

Yes it does! We've shot some in various predator contests that we thought were monsters at the time. Put them on the scale, and they are 23-25...still big cats, but put them next to a 30lber and there is a noticeable difference.

Our of all the cats I've trapped only I can say maybe 3 were over 30. I had my biggest this year.

My guess is the low 20s. He looks huge in the pics, but so do the turkeys and the pigs. Still a big cat though.

You can figure those coyotes are going to be in the 30-35 range, I'd say the kitty is going to be in the 20-25 class.

My guess is 23-25. They are never as big as you think they are.

I think the best information you can get as to how big cats get in a specific area would be from some of the Trapper website/forums.....cats get bigger the further North you go and even up North a 40 pound bobcat is a really big one.....but this one looks good as well so it may be in that range.....google "heaviest bobcat"
