Have any of you or anyone you know been drawn for the Private Lands Antelope TPWD draw hunt in the Panhandle? I have been putting in for 21 yrs and no draw yet. I am curious to find someone who has been the lucky 1 permit drawn and how many yrs/pts they had.
I asked TPWD to publish the average pts per draw winner to get an idea of how many more years I need to keep putting in, in hopes of being drawn on some of these "once in a life time hunts" like Chap gun deer, Elephant Mtn mule deer gun, Antelope, etc.
My past experience has shown that about every 10 yrs I get drawn for mule deer gun (black gap) and 10-15 yrs for gun whitetail (Matador). I know it is just a draw but there are statistics out there which would give us a little hint at how much longer we need to expect the wait to be.
