Mark, the amount of my pickiness is not a drop in the bucket to Krivoman. Wait til you see the pics of the deer (plural) that he passed this morning. The man is insane. That 36 inch, 30 inch wide, long browed and cottle tined buck was a little to thin for him. LOL If he says "go with me", then you GO!

Now, my plan this week was to hunt my "hill" every morning and explore other spots in the evening. Most of my deer have come through in the morning and I haven't seen much up there in the evening. So, while Bobby was covered up with good'uns, I went up the hill and had these visitors.

This week marks the mid point in my quest. There are 3 more weekends. However, one is a Junco weekend and one is the 4th and my grandson's birthday party. That leaves one. I intended to hunt like it was my last hunt and try and kill a good one, not wanting to have it come down to the wire. I wanted to give the big nontypicals a chance, but not box myself in by limiting myself to just those. After the first couple mornings, I began to worry. I could always ease over to the fence and see the group of bucks grazing and lounging. However I've heard a lot of shots back in that area and after the second morning of looking for the group, they seemed to have moved or "disappeared". My hill strategy changed after the second morning.

Tuth is the man, but he is rubbing off on me.

I think he is talking about this little guy. He just needs some mass and he would have been good to go.
