    Our Piece of Texas

We are finally starting the build of our house. Been working feverishly on clearing the land and getting everything lined out. Got the survey done a few weeks ago and as of this week, we own the land.

We are building on 1 acre of my inlaws acreage. Has been a long process and meeting with the bank today to get the loan. My wife called 5 different banks and the one we finally decided on has the best rates and lowest closing cost.

Going to burn all the brush off this weekend. Culvert should be put in next week and I will put our gate in the following weekend. We are using my inlaws gate (which happens to be on our property) for now.

Some of yall have been a great help in designing and answering random questions and we thank yall for that. Stick with us because it is going to be a process but I will answer any questions on cost of anything.

While all this was going on, the electric people came out to tell me where I can set my pole, they should be out within the next week to set our pole.

Stump removal came yesterday and pulled stumps. Not a bad payday for him for 5 hours of work
