Default The Donkey finally showed up

This is on 260 acres In which 130 is cattle pasture and hay fields. This is also low fence with no high fence anywhere close to it.

In those pics he look only 3.5 but in others he looks to be 4.5. If the place was big enough I may pass him but it would be hard to.

They shoot anything that they can get away with. If it is 13inches then they are going to kill it. I do have one neighbor that passes deer but he would definitely shoot this one.

If they shoot everything 13 inches then I am very surprised he made it to where he is today. I would think someone had a chance at him and passed. He is massive.

How many inches does a deer put on every year on average? Are y'all protein feeding? Good luck and hope you get him.

We do not feed protein but probably will starting next year. We have only killed 2 8 points off this place in 12 years and I have passed on multiple 120. Last year was the first year we have had anything over 130 and now this guy shows up.

There is a deer lease behind us that may have changed groups and if that happened then they could be letting the smaller deer walk.
