    Just another Age/Score this thread...

I am not very good at aging on the hoof, and have zero experience at scoring to boot. Both these deer made it through season as far as I can tell, and I am curious to get Age/score estimates on them. Both are obviously shooters, but I am at a loss on what they would actually measure. I’m looking for gross, not net.

Y’all’s expertise would be great appreciated.

    “Freak”
My guess is 4.5, no idea on score.
Both G2’s are split, LARGE kickers on the right G3 and G4, but only 5 points on the left side.

    “Jr”
My guess is 3.5, no idea on score
TALL G2’s, a big kicker on the left G2, and a small drop tine off the right main beam.

Which one? First one (freak) or second one (Jr)?

Both are older than 3. I would guess around 5 on both

150s guess on score without putting pen to paper. First one would be a lot more if he didn't mess that one side up

3.5 years old. Taught belly, straight back, defined shoulder into neck. 140’s

Are y’all talking the first buck or second?

I would say both. The 1st might be a little younger. Very slim, long legs and defined shoulders. The 2 looks 3-4. He looks like a stud, no sway back no bulging belly.

I would call them both 4.5. The first probably scores mid 150s and the second looks low 140s

Boy that is some studs right there. I'd say 4.5+. I hope you get 'em next year!

Man, I’d love to see both of them with another wet year. I might have to feed some protein just to see how good they can get.

I’m wondering how badly the left side of that first buck would hurt it though. I kinda figured that would drag him down a little lower than the second buck.

I was talking about both. Most bucks this time of the year will have a slim looking belly. Camera angle is not the best, but these bucks have to much chest to be 3 year olds and look to have some skin hanging at the brisket. That's my thoughts, but I'm not familiar with deer in your area. Either way they should be as good or better next year.
