I hunted the beaumont unit but I might make my way back to hunting LR. I've hunted it off and on for the last ten years. Last year they said it was overrun with rattlesnakes last year. I sure do hope that was an embellishmentComment

I hunted the LR since 1982 or so off and on. Some beautiful woods there! Never deer hunted much there, but I sure killed a many a squirrel there, and ain't no tellin' how many hogs... Haven't hunted it since they started that requirement to wear orange during bow season...Comment
