    Bass’n Success

Taking a few days of vacation up here in the Finger Lakes New York with the fam and started our annual family fishing tournament to see if we can gather up enough for a fish fry. Mama started off strong then Sam landed a nice 18”. Took one last cast by a dock and hammered a nice hawg. We laughed pulling up anchor at the last surprise. Dad leads for now but that could change tomorrow!

Which lake are you on? I used to travel the length of Keuka Lake back during college running up to see friends at SU.

Lamoka, it’s just 15 minutes southeast of Keuka next to Waneta lake. I learned to barefoot years ago on Keuka and can remember freezing my tail off on that lake!! We went by there yesterday for lunch in Hammondsport.

You bet. Yeah, most folks aren’t familiar with it but it’s about 3 hours south of Niagra Falls. Most folks think of the city when they hear NY but there’s tons of country up here and lots of turkey, pheasant and deer hunting too!

Been coming to NY, the Adirondacks for 30 years. Been to the city once and that was enough.
We summer up here now. We're on Lake Sacandaga. Been to the finger lakes many times. Used to go to the races at Watkins Glenn almost every year and of course the wineries.
                              Enjoy your time.
