That is quite the hamon! I recently tried W2 for the first time. It may be my new favourite steel.

That Hamon is killer.
Always wanted to take an old Western Cutlery H40 sharpfinger and disassemble and re heat treat it to see if it would take on a pattern. That blade design used to be my favorite. Was one of the first blade designs I made when I started knife making. I still have it.
