Heck yeah. How long have y’all been feeding it?

All our pastures looked really green this weekend. Deer looked fat and healthy. Got one of our new members set up and killed a couple corn thieves. Overall a good weekend.

It’s one of our other hunters blinds. I believe he got it from an outfitter our of Angelo since his son is a professional guide. We were filling everyone’s feeders and saw that. Hard not to appreciate a West Texas sunset.

We fed it 4 years and went to Angelo Pellets last year due to cheaper cost. Went back to Palmers this year. Feeding BC 23 and black eyed peas this year.

We’ve been thinking about mixing peas with our protein. Are you getting the peas from Palmers also or Sterling?

Getting peas in Sterling. $0.10 per pound in bulk bags. 1100-2200 lb bags.

You can put about 30-40% peas and get it to hold up in a bulk feeder. I would do 30.

Great information. I appreciate it. Would definitely help cut down the cost. We are tearing through protein this year.
