14-Ring Scoring in 2012: In addition to the Pro Classes, all Eagle classes, Traditional, and all 30-yard classes including the Bow Novice, Young Adult Pins, Women’s Hunter, Youth Pins, Youth Boys and Youth Girls will not be scoring the 14-Ring in competition this year.

Please contact us if you have any questions regarding these changes to these classes for 2012.

If you are in a KNOWN distance class or a 1/2 known and 1/2 unknown class you MUST have a range finder. If you do not have a range finder we will assign you to a group that has a range finder. Yardage sheets will be supplied to shooters that shoot from the Yellow, Green and Orange stakes ONLY.

For a complete schedule, rules, club links and more go to the Texas ASA Federation website at:

http://texasasafederation.com/

Abilene has a long history of hosting major archery events. The terrain at Abilene can produce some very challenging shots. There are many ravines, ditches and small mountains to shoot thru, across and over. The cedars and oaks create a lot of shadows to make it really interesting. You don't want to miss this one !!!!

For directions and more club info go to:

And remember.....

We Are the Next Best Thing to a Pro/Am.

10 Reasons to Come out and shoot the Abilene ASA Qualifier.

1. Abilene has one of the most beautiful properties in Texas....no...the nation to host a 3D event.

2. You will get to shoot some up and downhill shots like you won't find anywhere else in Texas.

3. You can eat dinner at the Perini Ranch Steak House.

4. It only a 3 hour drive from DFW area.

5. Your Turn.........

Haha! Well, maybe. But it was my first shoot with the new bow. I haven't practiced enough with it. Shot my lowest score but it's a great course and run very well!!!

What a great shoot as usual. The course was very challanging with the up and down hill shots. Thanks to the ABH group for all the hard work.

I'm really proud of her. She hadn't shot or practiced hardly any since Eastland Qualifier, which had me worried alittle. But she has gotten 2- 2nd place finishes in a row.

What old man? Started off with 3-5's on first 4 targets and couldnt' make up any points. Got to quit putting myself in a hole starting out. How'd you and Luke do at Oklahoma?
