30+ Mile winds = Good Fishing!!!
Sat. me and a couple of buddies decided to go fish Buchanan. Brian called Friday and asked if I was sure and I said yep less people following me around. We got out there at six and it was already blowing. Eased over to a point and started catching bait. After 250 or so baits we head to on my favorite spots. Boy was it windy. We took several over the bow and since we weren't catching anything we moved to a more protected cove. After 30 or so minutes I was just ready to move when I some fish showed up. The one rod we had in the water went off. Dropped the rest of the rods down and we had steady fishing for the next 2 hrs. Kept I think 12 and released probably 30 or so more. Very windy and rough. Feel like I have been beat by Mike Tyson!!

I forgot to add all fish caught on live shad in 25-30ft of water. Underwater points and humps mid lake. If your wanting to fish Buchanan start there and jumbo shiners work ad will. If you need a guide call max Milam .
