Anybody been south of the dam on the Brazos lately? Curious as to whether or not the river is fishable in a kayak with all this rain we've gotten lately. Probably won't get a chance to get down there anytime soon but u never know.

I was out there last week and it was deep enough for a boat. There were a few boats and a lot of kayaks on the water. I caught about a 15lb channel cat right up next to the dam.

Finally gettin to go back down to Dilley this weekend for some Turkey n Pig huntin. Hopefully get to break in my new 50. cal muzzleloader and stick sumpin wit my bow...
Hopefully good pics to follow. would go live if my phone worked there...
The place is a AAA style ranch and nice setups. Found out they left the tripod I setup last year for bowhuntin too, so I'm plumb danged stoked and ready to roll out... Come on Thursday.
