Default San Antonio Restaurants

Going down to the Army All-American Game on Friday. We are staying at the Hyatt Regency on the Riverwalk. I know the Braintrust can help me with this little task. Where are some good eating joints around the Riverwalk, that are exclusive to SA? We can drive if we must, but would like to keep it to walking distance.

I would make it a point to have dinner at Rosarios while you are in town. Great food and drinks

As stated above, can't really go wrong with anything down there. Boudro's is awesome. Casa Rio has good mexican, Republic of Texas is pretty good as well. Just my 2 cents.

Rio Rio is the best Mexican food in the riverwalk! Bit I'd venture to the Mexican market area and try meteria's (sp?)

Insane. It is the worst on the Walk.

Casa Rio is far better, it's not even close. Great fresh salsa. Get one of the two main combo plates.

TexMex rule #1....if you don't see or smell mesquite smoke...do not order fajitas.

Another vote for Boudros. The blackened prime rib is great!

Paisanos is an excellent local italian place...gotta try the shrimp paisano appetizer.

For Sunday brunch it's pretty pricey but Las Canarias puts on a GREAT brunch.

Take the shuttle($1.55) to the market square and eat at La Margarita. Eat and listen to the mariachis. Good stuff!

There's a place called Guillermo's, best place to grab a sandwich for lunch, the line gets kind of long if you get there after 12:01!
