Default Tom Green 10-point down!

I've had fun with this guy from time to time over the past 3 years! He has always been a droopy ear deer and when he showed up this year I knew immediately it was him. He has stayed in this feeder area the last 3 or 4 years of his life like clockwork until this year when the only time I seen the deer was the day I shot him! No trail pics of him this year at all or any sightings just showed up and came right in like he was at home. I haven't seen any deer I would like to take this year for my trophy on the lease so I shot this guy which in my opinion is a management buck at age 5 or 6. He has little mass and short eyeguards for a mature deer where most of our young deer have good eyeguards and better mass than he does. I'm happy with him either way though. I have enjoyed watching him turn into a 10-point after being a 8 point all his life up until this season. I was really looking for bigger deer this year with all the good rain we had but after last years EHD die-offs you cant expect to much. I've had a great year with my first droptine deer and passing on several young 120 class deer with plenty of potential for next year. I hope everyone had a fun this season "I know I did" and even though the big deer I was after eluded me all year I'll be back for round 2 next year!

Heres to the 2007-2008 season TBH and may next year be better!

Congrats Jeremy!! He was a good one to take. The only thing that would make the picture better is.....if your ugly mug wasn't in there with him. j/k

Now that you don't have anything to do, you can get busy making me a 6x6 bow blind. I bet if you can have it done by this weekend. I will even let you help me unload it at the lease.

Now get off of the green screen and get the ole welder fired up!

I enjoyed it Mike and look forward to hunting with you again next year also!
I wish I had spent some more time with ya but I guess my heart was just not in Christoval this year for some reason! I did have fun but felt it would be best for you and Lance to enjoy the place without me saying to much towards the deer not being big enough as I had hoped this year! We have lost allot of deer to last seasons EHD disease and I do believe it will bounce back in a few years. Its not even close to what it was before at this present time. My other places near town also let me down on what I expected but I did kill a droptine deer "I'm very happy with" but I think you know the one that got away from me!lol Things are already looking up for next year though with the acquiring of a new place near town that has proven to turn out big deer. I enjoyed it Mike just had some hard time dealing with paying $2,000 for a lease that for the 2nd year in a row I couldn't find a trophy class deer IMO worth shooting! Hopefully next year will be better and I'm sure it will be and next time you talk to Lance tell him I enjoyed hunting with him and both of your families! I will make it a point to spend more time with yall next year now that I've gotten to know both of ya better "It just takes me some time to warm up to ya" and I have to say I like the both of you!
For the record I've been on this lease for 5 years now and every year has been a battle with other lease members until this year! Thanks Mike,Lance Randal,Brandon and of course Stephen for making this fun and running smoothly without any arguing, accusing, backstabbing or anything of that nature!
Thanx to the best group I've hunted with in 20 years and hopefully many more!

We try! The neighbors give us hell though!
This area could be very good if the neighboring properties would calm down a little!
Thanx for the complements and it should be a better 2008-2009 season with all the deer we passed up.

Anybody here at TBH think like I do that the 08-09 season should be better than the 07-08 year was!
I had allot of 2.5 year old deer this year and a mix of 3.5-4.5 with few 5.5 witch should make for a better number of mature deer this next season RIGHT!
