Here are a couple of mine.

I replaced the top AR with a Colt model 6920 That I have topped with another ACOG TAO1NSN. The bolt gun is a Kyle Armament built 300 Whisper with a SCAR H SD can. The pistol is a Ruger MK2 with a Tactical Solutions upper and a Pilot can.

i read an article yesterday stating the military was rebarreling their M24's to 300 win. mag. Odds are, they already have some 300's in their hands...

Hmm, I wonder why the military would do that? If I was going to rebarrel why not just buy Lapua's. The 300 isnt that great compared to the LAP and isnt that much difference over the 308, plus they will have to carry another ammo. Of course I want one for a M24 build to hunt with merely because I love the round. But, that's the South Texas boy in me. 300 Win is what you hunt with down here!

I am having a problem with the first shot in a fresh mag being a flier, anyone have any suggestions on how to cure that? Im wondering if the Enidine buffer has anything to do with it.

regardless...i wouldn't want my thumbnail stick'n out there.

does the 1st flyer happen regadless of mag count...max capacity vs. just five rounds for range work??

Once I figured out that my first round was a flier, I loaded the mag with six rounds, shot the first round at a separate box, and then shot my 5 shot group. It has to do with the way the first round is loaded manually v/s the way it is loaded while shooting. Im just not sure how to fix it.

Thats what I do one the first shot in a new mag - that was the flier.

Joey,

If'n your gonna be shooting high power glass on there, then I recommend you use a Magpul ACS stock instead of the MOE. You will have a hard time getting a good cheek weld with the MOE.
