Default Giant Blind for me and the kids

Well I figured it was time to build out a blind that me and the kids could use easily. I usually like to be a little more concealed but it's gotten to be more important to me for my kids to like the sport. I bought a huge wooden crate and it took two days for me and the kids to put on the finishing touches. It was the right decision just from the fun we had working on the blind together. Check out the photos. I'm going to brush it in as good as I can once I get it to the lease.

My last task is to find something good to put over the windows that aren't in use to keep them from letting in any light when not in use. If it's just me in the blind i'll just hunt from one window.

Default blind...

Here are a few more photos....I have to say the windows were one of my favorite finds at Home Depot as you can see in the last pic.

Excellent job and great memories!

The blind I hunt out of has 8 windows. It's 6X8 1/2 Hex Dillon stand. I bought a roll of Tint film at Wallyworld. The kind of tint that stays on with static electricity. It can be cut to fit and if you want to "black out" a window, use two layers. I blacked out my back windows and keep my others with one layer. Early morning, I'll peel off the tint and stick it on one of my back windows to keep it out of the way and to keep it clean. Once the sun's up, I'll replace it and it's light enough tint to see out of but you can't be seen. Best of luck to you breaking in the new stand!

Great job, I love the windows "with screens" great way to get a breeze without all the nasty skeeters.

I also loved seeing the kids involved, I can't wait until mine get old enough to enjoy this stuff!
