Never bought one but I see no correlation between a bump fire and full auto machine gun.

There is a way to remain legal for now. There's an injunction in place that allows members of The Firearms Policy Center to keep their bump stocks until the court case is settled, and that could be a long time. You have to make a contribution, and you're in. BTW, this organization is doing well in court fighting multiple cases against gun control. So you are contributing to a worthy cause.

Michael Cargill, owner of Central Texas Gun Works in Austin, filed a lawsuit yesterday as he turned his in. I’m sure many more will follow this government overreach.

Yep. Now, watch all the LEOs, "who would never come to take your guns, or bow to the powers that be if it came to gun control", start arresting people they catch with bumpstocks .
Very few will turn them if I had to guess.
