13 deer total for the evening. All slick heads.
Killed 3 water moccasins and 1 copperhead on the way out.
This water has them crawling everywhere!

Penned and worked cows this morning. Got that finished, out the door and headed to pick up my Dad.
I guess I wore Talen out today so he opted to have a friend over for the night.

We are settled in.
Picked my dad up at the gate.
He is in the stand that me & T have been hunting this week and the same stand that he killed his personal best buck in last year on Oct 23.
Hopefully we can get a repeat of last year.
I’m in Summer’s stand (Wife). It’s a Maverick ground blind on the ground setting on a ridge that runs East & West. Flooded slough on the North & South of me makes this a great travel corridor when water is high. Got a couple of big rubs 30 yards to my North.
Bumped some deer out when I got to the stand. Hoping to have another good evening hunt.Comment
