I hope to see your LDPs. Thanks for sharing your project RyanC.
Thanks my man! I will get picks up this week or next when I get it set up. Do you have any pictures of your feeder you can post? I am hoping that my varmint cage is high enough that the pigs won't destroy it. I would like to see a few examples before I put it out.

There are a ton of them on TBH DIY forum. Use your search.

If only you were as good at fixing compressors as you are at making feeders.

Looks good. I am retrofitting two older feeders that were give to me many years ago. Going to make them stand and fill. plus I need to build a new one too. Got one done. Legs are just for measurement purposes as they are just 3/4 conduit I think something stronger will be needed.

The feeder looks great. On the next one, you could weld the bolts to the backer plate and not have to tap it. Guaranteed not to back off.

I thought about going that route. I had to take into account my welding skills at this point as well.

We got it all set up this morning, just before it got really hot. Now we will check the camera in a week or so.

Great upgrade and nice build. Like someone else said if you notice the coons still spinning your feeder plate you need a cage the same diameter as the barrel. My experience in the past has been that a coon can still reach the plate with a 12”x12” Cage, it needs to be out to the edge of the barrel or you just put a cage on there to give them something to hold on to.
