huge rattlesnake

friend of mine had this on his FB page, it was supposedly caught at Lake Whitney state park yesterday.

With the lake coming up,they are saying its running them out of the rocks.

Seen it on a bunch of FB pages today........... Looks like another average size snake on a long pole held close to the camera.

TPWD replied to someone and said it was infact caught at Whitney sunning on some rocks and that it was approximately 4 ft long.

I would need a longer stick than that! My question is why catch one that's in the wild? In someone's backyard or garage is one thing but in the wild leave them alone if you're not at risk.

This is correct and they relocated the snake to another part of the park.
